Transport Delays in Russia and Ukraine

Move One Relocations would like to bring your attention to the fact that Russia celebrates Russia Day on June 12th and June 13th and Ukraine marks Orthodox Pentecost on June 16th and Constitution Day on June 30th.
Most businesses and government offices, including Customs, will be closed in Russia and Ukraine on their respective public holidays. For this reason we would like our partners and clients to be mindful that there may be minor transport delays at these times.
On a related topic, please also note that all foreigners traveling to Russia on a business visa can stay in Russia for a maximum period of 90 days within 180 days.
As regards travel to Ukraine, visas are not required for business, private, cultural and sport travelers from U.S., Canada, Japan, Slovakia, Turkey, Switzerland and EU member states. The type of visa required depends on the purpose of the applicant's trip. Applicants from countries NOT mentioned above must additionally submit certain documents or 'supporting documents', to further explain the applicant's purpose of visit, for example: invitation letter verified by authorities, work permit, etc...
